Our Staff

All our staff have police clearances, are honest, professional and bound by confidentiality. Cairns Cleaning Contractors employs local residents – as we pride ourselves on continuity and consistency of service we avoid employing short-term/itinerant workers. All of our staff speak English.

Our staff go through a rigorous interview and induction process prior to commencing work, which includes a background police security check.

Staff are trained in the use of chemicals and equipment and are provided with onsite training and inductions for premises security and lock up/alarm procedures.

We have a growing number of competent staff who provide services to the Cairns region. We ensure that this number continually grows to meet our clients’ needs.

Key Personnel

Troy Davidson

Managing Director & Business Owner

Responsible for overall business management and plays a key role in the accounting and sales processes. Troy came from the tourism industry where he had gained several years of management experience as Divisional Manager of a recreational dive operation in Cairns.

Steve Myher

Business Development Manager

Steve joined our team in Sept 2021 and has a strong background in Business Development and maintaining effective client relationships within the service industry. Steve has performed operations management, sales, and estimating for over 30 years throughout North Queensland and has business qualifications in front line management.

Leanne Wilson

Operations Manager

Leanne has extensive hands-on experience in the cleaning industry including four years with Cairns Cleaning Contractors prior to her appointment to the role of Operations Manager in 2014. In this role Leanne is responsible for all staff rostering, on-site training of new employees, monitoring and mentoring existing staff and on site staff performance reviews. Leanne is tasked with ensuring service delivery, and that our staff are following our established cleaning procedures and adhering to our standards. Leanne is dedicated to fostering a healthy and productive workforce.

Greg Postle

Cairns Periodics Team Leader

Greg joined the team three years ago from a variety of industries where he gained a great deal of experience in personnel management. Greg runs the periodic maintenance teams involved with such scheduled tasks as carpet cleaning, pressure cleaning, vinyl stripping and re-sealing/wet scrubbing and buffing, window cleaning, external cleaning, internal wall/fan/ceiling cleaning among others.

Bill Chapman

Bill Chapman

Training Supervisor

Provides hands on training, supervision and monitoring of cleaning staff. Bill is responsible for maintaining and improving the standard of service provision by our frontline staff. After working as a cleaner for CCC for some time, Bill's eye for detail and strong work ethics were rewarded with a full time position where he can transfer these and other attributes to our wider workforce.

  • We require our staff to take ownership of their work and the cleaning tasks.
